All lessons are one-to-one with Gavin Hale. Rates depend on whether you're booking single lessons or a block, and on where you're being picked up from — so it's a quick conversation rather than a price list. Block bookings are paid in advance.

No extras bolted on
There's no joining fee, no admin charge and no minimum block. The test fee is paid separately to the DVSA when you book through GOV.UK — nobody should be charging you a booking fee on top of it.

How do I pay?
Gavin will confirm what he accepts when you call. Block bookings are normally paid up front, single lessons at the lesson itself.
Is the test fee included?
No. The DVSA charges separately for the theory and practical tests, and you book those yourself through GOV.UK. Only ever book through the official site — the unofficial ones charge you extra for nothing.
Can I use the car for my test?
Yes, that's normal practice and it's much better than turning up in an unfamiliar car. Mention it when you book so the date can be kept free.
